David Fricke is a senior editor for the Rolling Stone, and he attended the Woodstock festival, making him a valid source for my research. In this article, he discusses his experience and what Woodstock means to him personally, as well as providing commentary on the nation-wide impact.

This source focuses on the immediate impact that Woodstock had, and talks about different artists (mainly Jimi Hendrix) who were memorable and why. 

 

Woodstock: Three Days that Defined a Generation. Directed by Barak Goodman, PBS Distribution, 2019. 

 

This movie shows the nation’s conflict and the lead up to the three days that were a cultural revolution in August of ‘69. It is filled with quotes from attendees and people directly associated with Woodstock, and it goes in great detail talking about the struggles and complications this festival faced, and the prevailing attitude of peace and love.
